This collection is inspired by ancient Irish granite carvings that portray a society that embraced the celestial cycles and their importance in human life. I truly believe that these cairns were sacred sites used for rituals on the most important days of the calendar year and, to me, these sites are still sacred. Most of the symbols convey measurements of time: the sun, moon and stars or astronomy, and, I believe, a deeper spiritual meaning. These one-of-a-kind creations are handcrafted in silver and 24k gold.
